Watched a Cesaerean delivery this morning. A baby girl is breech position. Later in the morning on rounds, we visited the mother and she was looking well. People have amazing recovery capabilities. Healing is a magical power, I'm convinced.  

I came home in tie to heat up some Dhal and rice for lunch (variations... with soy sauce!), check my email and put the chicken to marinate for dinner tonight. The Ladies Who Language are coming over for dinner. That's two Americans, a Dubai-raised Indian, and dos Chileans, one working in India, the other visiting from Germany, sharing English and Spanish over coffee and such. but tonight we're making dinner and sharing more music from our respective places. 

Better get back to the hospital for community outreach classes this afternoon. Dr. Rohini  will present about women's health in the community and Antenatal care.
